AD Players - "Little Women: The Musical" auditions

This coming summer, AD Players will close their season with "Little Women: The Musical," the dramatization of Louisa May Alcott's classic novel. Stage direction will be by Joey Watkins with musical direction by Jesse Lozano.

Auditions will be held in assigned time slots at the Mainstage location (2710 W. Alabama, 77098) on Saturday, February 6 (10a-1p) and Wednesday, February 10 (6-10p). (Attendance is needed at only one date.) Prepare 16 bars of music and a one minute monologue. Live accompaniment is available - bring sheet music in the right key and with any cuts marked. A CD player will also be available.

Callbacks will be held on Saturday, February 13 (10a-1p), at the director's request.

Current rehearsal schedule is Monday - Friday evenings, April 25 through May 31. Extended tech on Saturday, May 28. Performances are June 1 - July 10 (most weeks are a Thursday - Sunday schedule). There is currently a dress rehearsal scheduled on Memorial Day, and performances will run the entire weekend leading up to Independence Day. Performances may also include dates at Miller Outdoor in July or August - dates TBD. A detailed calendar will be available at auditions.

Actors will be paid per performance. Rehearsals are not compensated.

Provide your top three options for time slots (10a, 10:15a, 10:30a, etc.) on your preferred day. If you have no preference, you will be assigned a slot. Slots are available on a first emailed, first assigned basis. Please arrive ten minutes prior to your slot in order to check in and fill out paperwork.
