Subject: Upcoming Workshop and Class by esurientarts on 2016/4/14 19:52:56 Actors at Play Workshop Saturday, June 4, 2016 1:00pm 4:00pm This workshop features a panel of arts leaders with a current home base in Houston, TX. This diverse panel includes playwrights, directors, artistic directors, owners of production companies, and more! We will begin with theatre based activities and exercises intended to explore the instrument of the actor (body), team building, shared space/weight, exploration through play, and more. Next, each actor will have the opportunity to perform at least one monologue for the panel and receive feedback. Remember, this will be held the week before Alliance Auditions. This is also a fundraiser for an arts education program. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity while making future arts programming possible for others! Esurient Arts Acting Intensive Sun, Jun 5, 2016 12:30pm Sun, Jul 10, 2016 7:30pm Exploring scene work, building a diverse repertoire, the actor as a product, nurturing the whole actor (mental, physical, emotional), exploring classical work, and more. Includes an optional 2 hours of private sessions for no additional fee. Each registrant must select ONE time slot for the class.
