Open Call Audition Dates:
Sunday October 11, 3 - 6pm Monday October 12, 6:30 - 9pm Location: Pearl Theater, 14803 Park Almeda Dr, Houston, TX 77047 Ages: 10 to Adult Performances: December 5 - 20 , 2015 Director: Renee van Nifterik Musical Director: Eduardo Guzman Summary Blending seven original songs with traditional Christmas carols, this show is full of holiday spirit! All your favorite fairytale characters take on new roles to retell this adaptation of A Christmas Carol that's surprisingly true to the original, yet unlike you've ever seen it before! You'll never know who will show up next when the Big Bad Wolf as Ebenezer Scrooge meets the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Midas (Marley), who could turn anything to gold. Midas warns Big Bad that he'll be visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future (played by a Fairy Godmother, Old King Cole and the Queen of Hearts respectively). The ghosts make Scrooge realize what a scoundrel he's been to the Charming (or Crachit) family - including Prince Philip, Cinderella and their kids, Hansel, Gretel and Tabitha, their Little Match Girl - and help him remember what the Christmas spirit is all about. Audition Information Auditions for The Fairy Tale Christmas Carol, the Musical are Sunday, Oct. 11 from 3-6pm and Monday from 6:30-9 at the Pearl Theater.
