Local News: New York Director to Direct PUMP BOYS at Unity

Mr. Yuhasz recently directed and wrote the musical TUSK for the New York Musical Theatre Festival. The past three years he has been assistant director to Tony Award winning director/choreographer Susan Stroman for Madison Square Garden’s A CHRISTMAS CAROL starring Jim Dale, Tim Curry, and F. Barre in the spring of 2005. It’s a great opportunity to explore the music and experiment.” Mr. Yuhasz and Unity’s new Artistic Director, Breton Frazier, worked together at the Dallas Theater Center.

Previously, Mr. Yuhasz served as Producing Director at Capital Repertory and National Musical Theatre Network; as Executive Director of New Apollo Theatre; and as General Manager of Paper Mill Playhouse. He has directed for Casa Manana, Manhattan Theatre Club, Flat Rock Playhouse, Signature Theatre, and Goodspeed Opera House.

Open auditions for PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES will be
Monday, September 13, from 6-9 p.m.
