Sunday Social at Ouisie's Table Ongoing series looks at "putting on a show" with Stages Repertory Theatre

Just as the new arts season is to begin, Rob Bundy, artistic director of Stages Repertory Theatre and Kenn McLaughlin, the theatre's managing director, come to Ouisie's Table to talk about Stages' new season and what goes into choosing the shows that make it. This promises to be a true backstage pass to the creative process of producing performance art for audience consumption...

The late afternoon social is one more of a series of relaxed gatherings thanks to Elouise "Ouisie" Adams Jones, owner of Ouisie's Table, the wonderfully eclectic Southern restaurant at 3939 San Felipe.

For three months this fall, the restaurant is dedicating its Sunday Socials to celebrating and exploring the creative process . The unique series is hosting a number of regional and national personalities who will discuss not only what they have done, but focus on the creative process as well.

Free and open to the public, the Sunday Socials at Ouisie's Table is an ongoing, periodic happening aimed at families and keeping alive the big Sunday dinner gatherings that were once a true Southern tradition. Guests are encouraged to come for a late lunch and then join the Social or stay for dinner afterwards. The socials include light bites and a cash bar.
