LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS ON STAGE AT STAGE DOOR INC.

Little Shop of Horrors is the second fan-voted favorite show of SDI’s 5th Season. It opens Thursday, March 28th, 2013 and normally runs, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm, weekends through April 21st, 2013.

A skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers “Audrey II,” an exotic plant with a mysterious craving for fresh blood. Soon, Audrey II grows into an ill-tempered, foul-mouthed, singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite!

While on business in Munich, best-selling author Max Telligan is reported dead. His secretary, Liz, and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Harriet, are stunned and dismayed but even more shocked when Max walks in the door very much alive. A sequence of events follows involving the Police, Scotland Yard, and the CIA. Max is now embroiled in a dangerous situation with sinister characters and finds he can’t trust anyone, even those closest to him.

Misery is a stage adaptation of Stephen King’s famous novel of the same name, which also spawned the famous movie starring Kathy Bates and James Caan as Annie Wilkes and Paul Sheldon. One of the best thrillers around, Misery is the story of a writer and his “number one fan.”

Paul Sheldon is a romance novelist who just finished his latest work and on a wild hair decides to drive through the mountains to LA. Caught in a snowstorm in those mountains, he has a terrible car accident. Luckily, he is saved by his number one fan, Annie Wilkes. Unfortunately, as it turns out, Annie is a little off her rocker.
