The Sunshine Boys
Comedy by Neil Simon
November 7 - December 13, 2008

Al Lewis and Willie Clark, a successful vaudeville team for forty three years, haven’t spoken to each other since they split up eleven years ago. When CBS wants them to appear in a history of comedy TV special they decide to go through with it even if it kills them. It almost does. A hilarious and heartfelt comedy from the iconic Neil Simon.

Arms and the Man
Comedy by George Bernard Shaw
January 9 - February 14, 2009

When an idealistic young lady from Bulgaria duels with a Swiss mercenary soldier can romance be far behind? In Shaw’s enchanting comedy concepts of honor, valor, war and romantic love are challenged with surprising results. A timeless play from the great G.B.S.

Doubt: A Parable Drama by John Patrick Shanley

Reckless
Comedy by Craig Lucas

On a snowy Christmas Eve, Rachel’s guilt stricken husband urges her to flee the house before a hitman he has hired to kill her arrives. Thus begins a new chapter in her journey, leading Rachel to ponder whether the modern world might not be a vast conspiracy designed to undermine her grasp on reality. We’re rooting for Rachel in this funny modern comedy.

Rudolph Rides Again

Santa left Mrs. Santa’s favorite elf, Alvin, in Houston on Christmas Eve. Elvis the elf, and a retired Rudolph the Red-Nosed-Reindeer make the trip to rescue Alvin, amaze a couple of kids, fight some bad burglars and sing a song or two. A holiday treat for the whole family.

The Sorcerer's Other Apprentice

January 10 - February 14, 2009

Chip wants to be a genuine wizard, not just an apprentice. Merwyn, a wise Sorcerer, sends Chip on a special quest to meet a very independent princess, a fiercely funny dragon, and to discover that he is a real wizard after all.

Alice and Wonderland

A group of performers look for Alice in order to retell her story in Wonderland. Come fall down the rabbit hole with us in this exciting version of Alice’s adventures – so close to the original in intention and feeling that you might suspect that Carroll himself had written it.

Pied Piper of Hamlintown

The Mayor and the City Council think they have a pest problem in town. It’s up to the Mayor’s niece, a very French Rat, and a Piper to show how trust in others along with common sense can make for good government and successful problem solving. An imaginative interpretation of a classic tale by one of our own resident playwrights.

The Little Mermaid

In the harmonious world of Merpeople, the little mermaid Pearl dreams about the mysterious lands above the water. Her family warns her of the dangers but Pearl sets out to know humans. This beautiful and exciting Hans Christian Andersen story is one of our favorites.

Reckless and The Little Mermaid

All auditions are open to the public, and anyone interested in auditioning is encouraged to attend. Except for the special cases of musical productions, all auditions are cold readings of selections chosen by the directors and taken directly from the scripts. Head shots and resumes are encouraged. In the case of auditions for a musical, an appointment may have to be made to audition with prepared musical numbers.
For productions that have children as cast members, a separate audition is usually held.
