The Woman in Black
Adapted for the stage by Stephen Mallatratt
Based on the novel by Susan Hill

October 14 - November 6

Stephen Mallatratt's stage adaptation of Susan Hill's thriller novel remains entirely true to the book itself, while transforming the work into a totally gripping piece of theatre. A lawyer hires an actor to tutor him in recounting to family and friends a story that has long-troubled him concerning events that transpired when he attended the funeral of an elderly recluse. There he caught sight of the woman in black, the mere mention of whom terrifies the locals, for anyone who sees her dies! Unanimously acclaimed by the critics and now celebrating over 14 years in the West End, The Woman in Black combines the power and intensity of live theatre with the cinematic quality of film noir.

Santaland Diaries
By David Sedaris

December 2 - January 1

Adapted from David Sedaris' hilarious essays on the Christmas season for National Public Radio, Santaland Diaries tells the story of a young writer who accepts a job as Macy's elf to pay his rent. His accounts of obnoxious customers, the pains of elf training, and the varying, and often weird techniques of different Santas provide a laugh-until-you-cry evening guaranteed to delight adult audiences. Don't miss this irreverently funny alternative to the Holiday season!

Honk!
Book & Lyrics by Anthony Drewe
Music by George Stiles

March 10 - April 2

Winner of the 2000 Olivier Award for Best New Musical, Honk! is the story of Ugly, whose odd, gawky looks instantly incite prejudice from his family and neighbors. Separated from the farm and pursued by a hungry cat, Ugly must find his way home. Along his rollicking and harrowing journey he not only discovers his true beauty and glorious destiny, but also finds love and acceptance in all its forms. Witty and hilarious, but also deeply moving, Honk! is perfect for a family audience…and every audience.

Picasso at Lapin Agile
By Steve Martin

June 9 - July 2

In his first comedy for the stage, Steve Martin's Picasso at the Lapin Agile places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904, just before the renowned scientist transformed physics with his theory of relativity and the celebrated painter set the art world afire with cubism. Bystanders, including Picasso' agent, the bartender and his mistress, Picasso's date, an elderly philosopher, and an idiot inventor introduce additional flourishes of humor. The final surprise patron to join the merriment at the Lapin Agile is a charismatic dark haired singer time warped in from a later era. Winner of the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play.
