Mildred's Umbrella Presents a Reading of a New Play

Mildred's Umbrella Theater Company's resident playwright, John Harvey presents:
A Night Dark in the House

A child has gone missing and it may be best that he’s not found. In this new dark exploration of family memories by John Harvey, two parents search their house through the night trying to find their son, and in so doing unearth all that they’ve buried...
Featuring Jennifer Decker, Patricia Duran, Michelle Edwards, Alan Hall, and Eric Doss, this new play by Mildred’s Umbrella Resident Playwright John Harvey will be read at Stages on Monday June 26th at 8:00pm. Admission is free with a reception before the reading. Food and wine will be provided by Prego.

John Harvey is a recepient of a 2005 Artist Fellowship Award from the Cultural Arts Council of Houston and Harris County. Also, in 2005 Mildred's Umbrella performed his play Needful Creatures at the Midtown Art Center, and his multi-media show Hotel Pasiphae at the Gremillion Gallery and at the Northeast Campus of Houston Community College.
