is Gripping but Overly Metaphorical

Playwright Kenneth Lin says he needed to write this play---about a concentration camp prisoner, Curt Herzstark, who is being kept alive because he has invented the world's first hand-held four function calculator.

The most difficult problem in creating the calculator seems to be the problem of performing subtraction.

Lin often uses this as a metaphor in his gripping play about the Holocaust.

at Stages is Decent Production of Dreadful Play

Tracy Letts' Man From Nebraska which opened at Stages on Friday, April 23, is a deeply disturbing play.
It is disturbing mainly because it is such a poorly written play.
Letts won the Pulitzer and the Tony Award for Best Play with his August: Osage County.
