But nevertheless, I really did enjoy the show and thought the company did a good job. I particularly enjoyed the overall choreography in the Maiden with no hands and Rapunzel. Can't wait to see that Frog Prince do some more dancing in the next show! I think he'll be ready for some grande jetes and pirouettes!!! It's def. worth checking out, so go check it out!

My husband doesnâ€™t like dance, and he really enjoyed the show. There is so much more going on - voiceover of the fairytales, video, interesting use of props. The costumes were great - choices worked very well with the individual tales and really made the overall color scheme just jump out at you. Some of the bits were really inspired - a â€œriverâ€ of fabric, Rapunzelâ€™s hair, sick/funny use of a paper cutter. It was beautiful to look at and I wasnâ€™t bored once. I wish the dancing had been a bit more disturbing and dark to match the tone of Sextonâ€™s fairy tales. The dancing was very pretty; the fairy tales were not. Last weekend - go check it out. And that Frog Prince - he is totally hot!

I particulary liked the Rapunzel piece, there was a bit about it theat was reminiscent of Butoh. Which is a performing art form that interests me a great deal. And there were some surprisingly humourous pieces as well. Im curious to see how this company grows toward it's full potential! Try something different? Check em out!

This is an excellent multi-media dance show with awesome music by Robert Thoth and Two-Star Symphony. And Barnevelder is a great place to see a show. check it out!!!!

I agree with you, Lavinia, I was hoping for something a little more darker as well. But nevertheless, I really did enjoy the show and thought the company did a good job.

I particularly enjoyed the overall choreography in the Maiden with no hands and Rapunzel.

Great opening weekend deal...$8.00 tix and pay-what-you-will performance on Monday, August 15, for all of you that are already performing elsewhere this weekend. This is an excellent multi-media dance show with awesome music by Robert Thoth and Two-Star Symphony. And Barnevelder is a great place to see a show. check it out!!!!
